The Australian Go Association has invited the Philippine Go community to join an exciting Online Go Team Challenge starting September 12, 2026!
This friendly international event welcomes all Go players in the Philippines who wish to participate, learn, and enjoy cross‑country matches with fellow enthusiasts from Australia.
Match Format
- Teams: 5 players per country
- Platform: Online Go Server (OGS)
- Start Date: September 12, 2026
- Schedule: One game each weekend (up to 9 weekends)
- Format: Nongshim Cup‑style — the winner continues to the next round while the losing player is eliminated
Players Needed
- 2 players ranked 5 kyu – 1 kyu
- 2 players ranked 1 dan – 4 dan
- 1 player ranked 5 dan
Live Commentary
Games will feature live commentary by An Younggil 8p and other strong Go players, making each match both educational and exciting for viewers.

All matches will be open for viewing on OGS, giving everyone the chance to watch the games live and cheer for their team.
